Great line-up!

With the greatest of respect to Biréli's fusion project (2012), Dr.John (headliner on the Sunday, 2012) and Pat Metheny this year - all of whom I love in their own right, it's just the context - I'm with Olivier Kikteff, who said in an interview with Patrus last year that any move to upscale Samois into a more mainstream festival is plain wrong.

It's diverse, but also it's clear in a way that wasn't 100% evident on the 2012 programme that the GJ/Roma stuff is what we're all really here for.

Now to check my calendar & see if we can make it!!!
