Can anyone help me with the chords?

heres what I have so far:

Fmaj7 Em7b5/A7 Dm9/Db9 Cm9/B9 Bbmaj7 Bbm7/Eb9 A13 D9 1. Gm7 C9 Fmaj7/Ab7 G7/Gb7 2. Gm7/Am7#5 C11/C13 F F

then im lost.

the tune is a variation of a blues, commonly known as a "bird blues" because it was used by beboppers on tunes like Blues for Alice. It is simply a blues form with chord subs, basically:

Fmaj7 | Em7b5 A7b9 | Dm7 G7 | Cm7 F7 |
Bbmaj7 | Bbm7 E7 | Am7 D7 | Abm7 Db7 |
Gm7 | C7 | Am7 D7 | Gm7 C7 |

I don't have the Place du Tertre recording in front of me right now, but work with the changes above and you'll be able to figure it out. If any of the above chords aren't exactly what is on the recording, then this is probably the result of tritone substitution, playing a m7 chord as a dominant, etc. Also, the turnaround is probably different.

ps - a GREAT version of this type of blues is "Freight Trane" from the Kenny Burrell and John Coltrane album.

but there is a 2nd part that I cant figure out. Im assuming it is unique to bireli's recordings. That is what I most need help with.

sorry, I didn't realise that was what you wanted - I can't remember the song that well off the top of my head, but I think it goes something like:

| ? | Am7 D7 | Gm7 C7 | Fmaj7 |
|Bm7 E7 | Bbm7 Eb7 | Am7 D7 | G13 | C9 (hit and hold)

then one more chorus of bird blues and the form starts over again.

edit - for some reason I didn't notice that you had posted a file of it - the first bar above is Gm7 C7
