I use the Myers alot. I occasionally need to use the Pro-70 instead due to feedback issues, but the Myers gooseneck helps with placement to avoid these issues. You definitely need an amp or preamp with notch filter, phase reverse and 5 band active eq for better control.
I will work on a video with HQ audio to show how working on placement gives options for sound and feedback resistance.
I'm using the Myers and our another guitarist plays with AT. I tried both and kept the Myers. AT has more shimmer in the higs but I liked how the mids sound with Myers, at least on my guitar. Also Myers has a bit more placement flexibility. I doubt any is more feedback resistant but we both use pedals with notch filters so it hasn't been an issue for us as long as we're not cramped up on the small stage.
The only thing I dislike is using the ING into a PA. I find it lacks presence and warmth.
I recommend springing for both the custom bridge and "bowtie" with the pre-amp box that balances the two. It's nothing fancy to look at the it's much better than the clip-on AT mics.
