Schertler Giulia experiences

Hi!
I've been thinking about buying the Schertler Giulia amp but I haven't been able to test it anywhere. I like using Pro70 and DPA4099 depending on the situation and Giulia would seem to be a nice choice with the phantom and reverb etc. Most people seem to favor AERs but I would like to know what experiences do you have about this amp and with what pickups? Michael already responded and I read from older thread that compared to AER the Giulia has less power but less midrangy and boxy sound.
