Hello people. I am starting a new Jazz night here in Brighton and I 've got none other than Adrien to come and open it. It's Going to be a one off date. Naturally Mr Chatelain will be on Rhythm duties and George trebar will be on Bass. It's gonna cook...all seating has sold out but there is still standing room available!!

Congratulations - that's quite an opening act!

Steve, it's great to hear of your opening. Classy jazz bars are very hard to find. In the past decade, many of Portland's good jazz venues have become what my wife and I call: "Too-spots" ... restaurants that are too-formal where people with too-much money are served too-little food on plates that are too-large, while they talk too-loud over music that has too-little character... :-)

It's good to know that there are people in the world who are creating an atmosphere and venue for jazz.
