Don't know exactly what it is, but I prefer loop ends. They seem more vintage and tidier looking! @Jazzaferri that Tahoe base is something! I saw your other post about typing!
That's part of the fun and challenge. All these years of playing guitar, this style has opened up so for me and has really breathed new life into my musical desire.
I see how this goes for you, last week your cautiously inquiring about GJ guitars, today you put a deposit on one. This week you're inquiring about that minor swing run, next week you'll put up a video of it perfectly played at 195bpm.
LOL. If only! I've never been a speed player, and I don't like listening to guys who just play flat-out fast all the time. I wouldn't mind, though, being able to pull out a fast burst when the moment called for it. Maybe gypsy picking will help me get there.
This is where I pull out the only Latin quote I remember from school days: dum spiro spero - while I breathe, I hope...

Jimmy said it best in the 1st min of the movie below "you can play it fast, you can play it slow"...I never met a good player that could really rip put down speed, now ones that can't do it have every excuse in the book..... don't be those guys
