Arpeggio Primer by Sam Miltich and Clearwater Hot Club

Guitarist Sam Miltich's solo on the song "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" on the CD Louisiana Fairy Tale by Tim Kliphuis and the Clearwater Hot Club is like a primer on arpeggio playing. For somebody like me whom has played GJ for less than a couple of years, the solo makes me want to grab my guitar and practice arps. I wish I could post a link to a version, but I can't find it other than on iTunes or Pandora. I guess I'll have to buy a copy and start learning that solo, if possible.....

Get a Spotify account if you don't have one. Stream any song you can imagine on tablet or computer. Phone only does shuffle play.

I have a few albums out, on iTunes and three on CDBaby, and every month I get a small payment in royalties. I look forward to the iTunes payment as they give me 70%, while Spotify gives me about three pence.
But, I never made any albums to get rich, and I have recorded lots of very obscure music which few people are interested in, lol. But some people do rely on income from recordings. Why buy anything when you can stream it for free?

I hear you all and have bought literally thousands of records, CDs, mp3s over the past 50 years. I have had some rockabilly songs produced on a couple of labels, so appreciate it from that standpoint as well. However, record companies have negotiated such deals and while I may sympathize, that is the new paradigm. I'm not in favor of illegally downloading or bootlegging, but YouTube, Pandora, Spotify, et al. aren't illegal. I feel we've already hit the slippery slope on this one!
I guess people could take a stand if they feel bad and not use these services, and certain artists have already refused to allow their material to be used. No easy answers I fear.

Personally, I don't like downloading any unnecessary software to my computer, and that is why I prefer Pandora to Spotify. I did acquire a copy of I Can't Give You Anything But Love, now I'll have to start learning those arps. If I could only play like that, I'd be ecstatic.

@jonpowl, Spotify is an online service like Pandora. Free account and you can create playlists of artists, albums, make your own, etc. I have been trying to work on diminished arps myself.
