Krivo definitely wins in thinness, it's only 6mm or a hair less even.
If you still have problems with buzzing, Krivo will take care of that.

I just received a Vintage 47 RIC Style Supreme. Fantastic tube sound! David Barnes builds period correct reproductions of the great old Valco amps, and he's a fount of information, very willing to chat. Check them out at www.vintage47amps.com

I hope your amp quest works out. I reckon those Vintage 47 amps look super cool. Original small Valco, National, Supro, etc. also muy bueno, but getting expensive and probably need the plug replaced to 3 prong. Strimgswinger's Princetons also a great choice, especially the brown ones. Even Vibro Champs and Champs are nice and more affordable, but maybe don't have the volume you need. A speaker upgrade gets you more headroom. The Tube Screamer mentioned, actually doesn't really scream and is a little more subtle and musical than you would expect. I used one when at was playing out and it worked great (with my Tele). Suprisingly (for me) I got a tiny, little solid state Lunchbox Junior from Michael and love it. NO buzzing, hiss, noise, or popping, only about 5 lbs. 9V line out to power effects...and cheap. I got a battery pack and carry bag. Sounds good with everything so far, acoustic or electric. Played it on gigs at coffee houses and it filled the room. Just volume, tone and gain, so you can dial in the drive pretty good. Tried the regular Lunchbox and the Club model, but like the Junior way better. Got back problems, so every ounce makes a difference. Way back when, had a 60 lb. Fender Concert (EV speaker), so I know about heavy amps.

Those Vintage 47 amps look great ! I have my Fender Deluxe , its a 1949 I bought in Denver in around 1975 for 200 bucks. It records great ! I will do that over driven GJ thing well, but where it really shines is low volume clean in front of a nice mic. 2 6V6 around 13 -15 watts I guess. What look like stains in the photo are shadows. Its pretty clean for a 66 year old amp. It had been sold as a set with a fender lap steel , which was a common pairing in the day.
My Peche sounds great through a Polytone ! or an AER or both. The Peche is a bit noisy but sounds good. Its a free coil jammed up in the brass housing. Very old school. I might have a new coil wound and house it in the same shell to get more output and less RF.
    The Peche works .
