Anyone order a Favino recently? Cost/deposit/wait time/ will he correspond in English?

A friend here in St. Louis has picked up 2 over the years from JP. His english is very good. I will email my buddy and find out about the deposit, wait times, etc.

From my friend:

The investment required of course depends on the guitare. 6000€+

Can't remember the exact deposit. Maybe 1,000€

Not sure what the wait time is at present. Maybe 2+ years.

Does Favino still make the large body GJ guitars they were famous for? Didn't see any on their website. Maybe they're a custom order? The new Dupont Favino style guitar that Michael has looks good. That body shape is very cool.

@Steveareno JP may build something like the old Jacques models as a special request. But generally, he has refrained from replicating his father's designs and focuses on his model S which is a smaller, more modern guitar.

If you'd like an old style Jacques Favino, Dupont's are some of the best as Maurice was an apprentice of Jacques Favino and even has the original molds! Next to JP Favino, Maurice is the most knowledgeable about Jacques' design and techniques.
