We are proud to announce that at Grappelli-Django Camp this year, Nous'che Rosenberg will be our guest guitar tutor. … this is why he is the best rhythm player in the business:
Grappelli Django Camp
Europe's leading Gypsy Jazz workshop camp for Violin, Guitar and Bass
Grappelli Camp was founded by Tim Kliphuis and Reinier Voet in 2010, offering a long weekend of world class tuition to international players and providing a supportive atmosphere where they could come and improve their playing every year.
For 2015, we’ve renamed ourselves ‘Grappelli-Django Camp’ to show it’s just as much about guitar as the violin. We have some great plans for this new edition and look forward to welcoming guitars, violins and double basses to the Camp!
This is your chance to connect and hang with players of all levels, from places like Thailand, the States, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Australia and Turkey. Get top level tuition from world-class performers who you then get to jam with … four packed days which will change your life, at a very reasonable price!
With instruction tailored to a wide range of levels (beginner – intermediate – advanced)
Grappelli-Django Camp includes:
- level based workshops with your instrument group
- ensemble workshops: make a song concert-ready and perform it with a band
- daily private sessions with your teacher of choice
- campfire jamming every night with the tutors
- guided and open jam sessions throughout the day
This year our staff includes:
Nous'che Rosenberg, Thomas Baggerman and Reinier Voet on guitar
