New Miller pickup

Rainer Müller has announced a new Serie 4815 pickup for gypsy guitars, plus a similar model for archtops:

That looks promising and with a more normal modern 7 k ohm output , should have more of a mid range. So will provide an alternative to the 3.5k ohm pickups most associated with this type. I prefer these pickups to have at least a 6.3k output. At 6.3 you get good signal strength and a bit of midrange, depending on the magnetics. Any way , curious to hear this new Miller product. Slightly worried about the integrated mini pot. Those things don't have an infinite life.Though for an amateur it will likely be a once in a life time purchase. Usually that format pot. is a standard fitting though, although at 200k ohm, it may be that the most available replacement part will be 250k, the 3 standard values I've seen in my prototyping catalogs are 100,250 and 500k. All pass different amounts of high freqs. Not a huge deal. Glad to have volume control though.
