Whole body is laminated walnut. Neck is walnut. Fretboard as well as the bridge are ebony.
This guitar has a traditional chunky neck, and has recently been refretted.
It comes with Schaller deluxe tuners, has been set up with comfortable action.
It has an explosive response, a resonant and direct punch, plus powerful projection.
Full rich bass and cutting highs. strumming a chord feels like firing a canon.
You'll always be heard in an accoustic jam situation!
Rino's guitars are known for their power and 'old school' sound, and this one is a great example of his work. The finish details are a bit on the raw side. There are plenty of luthiers making guitars that have perfect finish and smooth cosmetics that don't have half the volume and punch of this guitar.

At Django in June 2013 Rino's guitar stood out over most everything else both with tone and volume and I heard other people saying the same thing. Of course there's his playing too but it's a great instrument nevertheless.
