Things to check when buying GJ guitar

I will go to Paris next weekend to buy a guitar. I never had a good GJ guitar, so what are the things i should be looking for in these guitars despite obvious things like sound and playability?
What are your priorities when choosing a new instrument: sound, playability, something else?

Besides those two that you stated I sight the neck and make sure it's straight. If I see warping or twisting or if it's bowed too much I'll pass on it.
But it's the one that says "take me home" and that's primarily decided on sound and playability and that won't happen if the neck has issues anyway.

Agree with Buco. If you're pleased with the sound and the style, the most important feature for playability is the neck: a good neck is a good guitar. And of course check how healthy are tuners and tailpiece and how worn are frets and bridge... if vintage.
