Gallato series 1

Hi,
I have read a few threads regarding Gallato, but none I could find seem to give an opinion on whether they are a nice guitar.
There is serial number 612 for sale locally.

Thanks for any guidance .......if any of you guys have come across one of those early guitars.

Thanks......had a good look at the threads, lots of useful info, I might hold out for something else.

I think Gonzalo's old guitar was a series 1 Gallato (with no truss rod). I played it before I got my late model Gallato and it sounded very similar to the new one that I bought. They seem very consistent from my experience (played 3 different ones). Fairly loud and dry.
