WTB beginners guitar

Hi everyone, been snooping around the forum for awhile and figured this might be a good place to look and get some advice on a beginners guitar.
I have been playing around with guitars for about 20yrs but never had a GJ guitar.
I would like to buy one that doesn't break the bank, maybe around a couple hundred dollars.
If there's anyone wanting to sell me one please let me know.

Thanks for the info guys. I saw the new ones on the website, just seeing if someone has a used one they want to part with before being a new one.

And you're right for $50 more than his asking price I can get a new one.

I will say be patient, but at the same time you're not missing too much.

New to GJ, I picked up a Cigano GJ-0 on Portland Craigslist a few months ago for $200. It really needed a setup and the guy at Renaissance Guitars did one for $25. So, $225 altogether. I'm glad I didn't pay more than this. It's a great guitar for working on La Pompe and leaving in the living room where my 3 year old can knock it over.

What this guitar has really given me is a desire for a real one (which equals real money). Currently waiting for the right one (probably Castelluccia) to come through Michael's shop. If you find a guitar that works and decide you want to bang out some songs, let me know.

Tim, thanks for the info. I'm keeping my eyes out on CL.
Never really used renaissance for a setup. Always taken it to the 12th fret.
Anyways, I'll keep looking.

I've had a Cigano (GJ 10) since I started playing GJ, so that's nearly a couple of years now.... I've been very pleased with it.

... and what pleases me most is that when good players have a go on it, it sounds great..... then when they switch back to their own (often expensive, luthier built ) guitars I always think "do they sound a thousand pounds better?"

... and they don't! ........... (unless I'm deaf, of course!)
