I had a opportunity to used a Bugera V5 it's a small 5 watt tube amp.
I'm really pleased and just ordered one $169.00 to my door.

Boutique-Style 5-Watt Class-A Valve Amplifier Combo with Reverb and Power Attenuator 5W, 1W, or .1W

The one I borrowed had the stock Chinese tubes replaced and bright cap across both the gain pot and volume pot.

OMG Amazing :-c

Anyone else try one yet?

Yep had one for about five years. Replaced the tubes and the speaker - though I'm not sure they changed the sound significantly. This is a great amp, loud and built like a tank. I suspect that a lot of people will be put of by the name and the link to Behringer and snobbishness kicks in. For the money it is fabulous.

I had one for a short while. I was hoping that it wouldn't be too loud for practicing country and rock in my condo, but it was, even at the lowest .01 watt setting. Maybe I got a bad one, but everything else seemed all right. Bought an un-modded Epiphone Valve Jr, which sounds pretty good with my old Fender 2x12" Bandmaster cabinet. However, I still use a Roland Micro Cube for low volume electric guitar practice, even though the speaker doesn't sound that great.
