I love my Krivo Nuevo, but I'm really not into the hum. I know there's not much to be done about it, but I'm just curious if anyone has any tips to mellow it out.
Using Krivo as a single coil I found that angle at which I sit against my amp could make a pretty big difference in hum levels, whether my guitar is parallel to the speaker or at 45-90 degree angle.
Sometimes plugging into a different circuit/outlet in your house can make a difference.
A person could add shielding to the Krivo. That would cut down on the hum. The only problem with adding shielding is that it makes the pickup thicker and its copper , so you loose the wood look Krivo vibe.
I have a Krivo , it has a good tone but I don't use it because the ground hum is, for my needs, excessive.
If a person was committed to the Krivo it would be possible to shield the back of the pickup with sheet copper and use copper shielding tape on top. Once the shielding was connected to ground on the pick up it would lessen the hum but it would also make the pickup somewhat darker sounding . In pickup applications shielding rolls off highs.
Some folks like those highs .
It would take 10 minutes to find out.

You can see if your electrical ground is adding to the hum, if your amp is a 3 prong, test using a cheater plug to lift the ground and see if it gets better.
If it does, remove the cheater plug and you can try a device that helps eliminate the ground loop hum such as:
