Hi all - I need some truly world class fiddlers closer to Colorado to bring in for some shows. For these particular shows it is not quite enough to be bringing in someone from the east coast, but maybe someone within a couple states. Any ideas?

Yeah, east coast seems like a hassle. How about Europe?

You might get in touch with David Seigel down in Colorado Springs. He plays with Archtop Eddy in Mango Fan Django and is a superb violinist.

I love Mango - really great players - but I was hoping there would be a Ben Powell or Jason Anick type player.

not world class, but pretty good: you might try Nick Coventry (in Tucson) he played/plays w/ Black Market Trust, A. Ponticelli.
