ToneDexter: A possibly amazing preamp system
It sounds great! It samples and learns your guitar sound through different mics. Go into a studio a play through a $5k mic for a minute and it saves it. Holds lots of mic sounds as well. Then plug in your guitar's piezo pickup and you got the mic soud or at least a reasonable facsimile. No having to be glued to a mic stand, no feedback, lots of mic choices, etc.
