David Reinhardt in Sweden

Hi!
David Reinhardt Trio with Noe Reinhardt and Samy Daussat were in Sweden last week for three gigs associated with the annual Django D'Or-event in Stockholm. The trio did a great job and the audience loved them!

I had the pleasure to sit in with the guys (borrowing Samy's Castellucia with a Stimer on it) and it was great fun:)

Hi Andreas,

two questions:

1. What are Castellucias like? I've never tried one.

2. Did Noe buy the L-5 from Bireli or was Bireli borrowing it from him for the DVD?

Hi Nick!
1. The Castellucias are good Selmer-copies, very similar to the the Olivier Marin's I've tried(both the sound. feel and outlook).

2.Noe didn't buy it directly from Bireli, I think the guitar ended up for sale in a guitar shop where Noe bought it. It's a fantastic guitar, one of the best archtops I've tried

A couple of months ago Hono Winterstein was selling on manoucheries.com the Stephan Hahl D Hole guitar Bireli was using in the same concert. I wonder who owns now the fantastic Dupont VR used in "Live à Vienne"...
