I was playing around in front of the TV, just trying out some licks and my wife walked and asked if I was doing anything different from normal. I explained Gypsy picking as best I could - she's not a musician.

She said I should carry on doing it as all the notes I was playing were now standing out from each other and had more "definition". Normally, apparently, I just sound "mushy".

I love my wife!

You are a very lucky man!
When I am practicing GJ my wife closes all the doors between me and her.
    But I love her too.
    Grazie Django!

She likes Gypsy Jazz. All other jazz guitar is, in her words, "squiddley diddley" playing. I sort of understand what she means without totally agreeing.
