nothing new...I'l let you know after my loud Thursday gig...nu pickup worked well in rehearsal but the acid test is my Thursday night gig.
I saw this vid with the peche and sounds fine but the guitar is also mic'ed
I probably didn't have the right amp for the peche and didn't feel like spending more money for a situation that was not going to be perfect for what I like to hear no matter what anyway.
OK...gig went very well...My new Krivo pickup is not perfect, no magnetic will be for me, but far more even than the Peche was and I at least like the sound. Used the humbucker but tone is similar to the single coil (I bought both with the idea of returning one if not both). As it turns out I'll keep the humbucker and our other guitarist is taking the single coil.
I have heard the peche sound fine, it is just not right for me.

No pickup is perfect for an acoustic guitar. The Krivo pickup is balanced and has good gain. The single coil Krivo is super thin, but does buzz in some rooms. Compared to the Euro made magnetic pickups, the Krivo is also very affordable. I have been using them on my Selmacs for the last couple of years.

Krivo is good stuff. Funny how three of us have pretty different views on the humbucker, or at least how it worked on our guitars.
I love their straight forward simplicity.
