Never have I seen and heard a guitar player who can transfer all his musical thoughts and ideas in an instant like Bireli, I'm dumbfound at how he toys with it.

I assume you are referring to Guitarists in the GJ world. Honestly, if I had to choose between a day of Bireli or a day of Ed Bickert, I would choose Bickert.

Oh that's a name I barely know, it vaguely rings a bell. Maybe I heard of him in the context along with Lenny Breau?
I'll listen to him next.
I know, it's hard to say someone does something like nobody else.
Whenever someone mentions Joe Pass in context of chord melodies I immediately go oh did you hear Kenny Pool, now that's one mesmerizing chord melody master. I think it was Chet Atkins who said he was the best guitarist nobody's heard of.
Still, and I'm not the biggest fan of Bireli cause I think that sometimes he eschews the artistry (or maybe musicality would fit better) for sheer exploration of the instrument, his complete authority over the instrument is magical.
Hes a Canuck. When Paul Desmond left Dave Brubek, he promised DB he would never play with another piano player so he hooked up with Jim Hall. When Jim moved on he recommended Ed Bickert.

But I'd like to hear more on Bireli as well.
