So the quicktime clips only play sound, and don't show video. Specifically the Oscar Aleman clips don't work.
I've tried everything to get them to work. I'm on Win XP, the latest version of quicktime. Is there some specific codec that I need to get?
Also I tried on some of the brand new mac at the apple store. Same result?
Any ideas?

It seems that some of you are missing and audio codec for the quicktime. Do any of the Quicktime ones work for you?

Like I said, I've got the lastest version of quicktime. Are you using some specific codec to encode them?

You're definitely missing a codec...i'm not sure which one.
Either way, when I get some time I'll convert the other quicktime vids to windows media.

Resurrecting this thread. When I click on the main link to the video archive, I see some postings that have youtube videos attached to them. Others just show the write up but no link to any video or nothing appearing. I'm on a Mac. Is this still a Mac vs. PC codec issue here? I click on each of the links in Michael's last post and there are no videos. The last line of text says you need Windows Media Player. Is this still the case in 2021? It seems nothing has been updated there since 2008 so perhaps that is a dead project?
