materials about gypsy picking

hi guys

Can you recommend any good materials ( articles, websites ) about gypsy picking except for Mr Horowitz book? I wonder if there are any other interesting sources available plus I would like to learn about this technique especially about descending runs etc.

It's nice, fairly basic, short, easy to get through. Has some nice old photographs.
One of the things it talks about is ascending/descending runs

Since you re asking about a lesson besides michael s book , i did do a very comprehensive lesson dealing just with the django style technique. It covers every single aspect of it, the history of the technique, the misconceptions, etc

I was just going to recommend that video from Christiaan. It's my favorite gypsy picking instructional clip on YouTube for sure.

I've bought several great "in the style of" volumes from Denis Chang's DC Music School too. I'm sure his technique lessons are great.

Taking lessons is also a smart move, especially as you're starting to develop your gypsy picking.
