Update on my ugly inverter. I've only charged the battery up once, to a terminal voltage of ~13.8 VDC. Over the past few days I've ran it for about two hours playing music thru my Carvin's aux in jack. Tonight I played a 2-1/2 hour outdoor gig. The terminal voltage on the battery is now 12.2 VDC. So I'm pretty confident about doing 5 hours + with it.
