Does anyone know of a good substitute for the double-sided tape that comes with the Ischell pickups? I accidentally trashed mine a while back. I've tried Velcro - not terribly secure without some sort of reinforcement. Carpet tape is not strong enough, and the double-sided tape found in the auto parts aisle at hardware stores appears to be too nearly permanent.
You can buy tape from Ischell, but it's expensive, especially when you add in shipping from Europe. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

also I don't mount this on the wood, only on the tailpiece.

Scoredog: I also only mount on the tailpiece.

And I wouldn't dream of putting it on the tailpiece, because I've tried it in many locations and it sounds best behind the bridge directly above a long interior brace on the upper side of the body where it can pick up lots of bass vibrations...

That's what my K'n'K came with and it held the jack very well.
I just didn't like the look of a 1/4" jack so I swapped it with 1/8" (grinded one side to make it somewhat flat) and super glued it to the tailpiece. When it came time to take it off I removed it easily by slicing the glue with a box cutter knife.
The price of the tape and shipping have been reduced. It now costs 10 € shipping included (without VAT outside the EU)
