Here (FR) you'll never sell over 1,000€, those guitars have kind of a bad reputation too..

Sorry to intervene but most people in the States wouldn't eat the frog legs and snails even you paid them to do it. And they kinda have a bad reputation too.

Point is, what you in France would or wouldn't pay for means nothing here, different market - different needs and demands.

P.S. Sorry for the introduction, Glenmorangie made me do it (my mother in law had a taste and said "yuck, tastes of cockroaches, how can you drink this?!")

I really didn't mean to be rude (must be all the frogs and snails i eat on a daily basis that made you think that).

I was just really surprised seeing that kind of price on that kind of guitar. Btw @Jim, I have played on 4 "Nomades", and they are really weird compared to what Dupont does in higher prices...

Then again, you could say the same about some Patenotte guitars..

I'll agree to the "other market" point, it was just shocking for me to see it at this price when a new one is 1450$ (Maurice Dupont's website).

But OK, understood, I'll shut the hell up

Most people in the states have no idea what they're missing. And yes, most people in the states have a bad reputation indeed.
