Wegen pick 2.5 mm

Hi there, I have a Robin Nolan Dell'Arte and I tried a 2.5 mm wegen pick, it doesn't give me the tone I like, so I might sell it. Anybody interested?

The correct way is to say I get a better sound with a BRAND? xy.z mm pick.

If you work at it you will get a better sound with the 2.5mm pick.

It is a white wegen, as I said the 3.5 mm gets a good tone out of my strings, 2.5 doen't really cut it, I have just had done a 3mm wegen and it seems a good compromise.

As Jazzaferri alluded to, the pick shouldn't matter and in my own pick hunt, it didn't. I used a Dunlop primetone semi rounded 1.3mm on all of my gigs last week, a Wegen 5mm button the week before on the regular gig and a 3.5 mm Wegen on NYE. When I practice, I grab a different pick and just deal with it. No one ever notices other than me and even when I notice, my personal opinion changes all the time.

Agree with @Jazzaferri and @Jim Kaznosky I used a 5mm last night and loved the sound and feel, tho I normally use a 3.5. The roundness was weird on solos. Ever rounded the fat edges of a beveled pick for rhythm anyone? If so recommendations for doing it. Sandpaper?

The fatter the pick the easier it is for the pick to glide across the strings. Takes lots of practice to get the same sound with a 2mm
