Ok, I know this is not Gypsy Jazz but I am drowning in resources here and I have to share it. I purchased the book Chord Chemistry by Ted Greene years ago and still haven't given it the time it deserves. Today, I stumbled upon the Ted Greene website and my interest is renewed. My head brain is melting just skimming over the wealth of information in this site. Do yourself a favour and check it out. So much here that is transferable, I think for ballads especially.
BTW, has anyone else accumulated more lessons and charts than you will be able to get to in your lifetime?

Also, check out the "From Students" section. Lots of great stuff from people who studied with Ted.

If you want to hear more from the man himself there is a channel on yt called ted greene archives. Lots of videos of his lessons.
