Nomad looking to add distortion to guitar without feedback

I use a Nomad with a K&K pickup, I love the way distortion sounds on this guitar as well as clean tones the only problem is the feedback, with the K&K you have to mount it to the exterior of the guitar so it will always get feedback. Was wondering what is a good amp/pickup set-up for having both clean tones and distortion, I love the clean sound on the K&K would love to still use it, I don't have an amp yet though.
