I know Jay, you're right. The idea was to make a connection to Django with something not too overused.
I think this would connect us more with Route 66 then Rue Vingt-six.
I like DC Ambiance, especially because my initials are DC.
Since Hot Club of DC is taken, I suggested DC and the Club of Hot, it drew a semi smile.
The closest one to get accepted is Cupajeaux, Suzanne's (clarinet) daughter nicknamed the French press pot she picked up at the garage sale as such.
Then there's my nickname turned Louisiana French: Buceaux Swing.
But neither was instant winner.
