There's an article in the new Jazzman (a French magazine) on Patrick Saussois and Alma Sinti. It's mostly about his influences (both song-writing and guitar playing), and then gets to the real news: Alma Sinti's 10th anniversary disc! It's called "Nuits de Paris" and will be released May 2 (with any luck I should have it May 17 when my girlfriend returns from France, and will then post a review).

There's also a nice photo of M. Saussois in the article with what looks to be a vieille reserve guitar, although it could be any Dupont with Selmer-style tuning machines. (I was previously under the impression that he played Favino and Di Mauro guitars.)

Patrick Saussois plays a Dupont Vieille Reserve (that's what he was playing the last two times he was in Montreal anyway.)
