Gitane Lulo, how good is it?

It's been a looonnnggg time since I've been to this forum (hi, Josh). I just recently purchased a Seagull 12er, and I'm very happy with it, but GAS snuck upon me and took another nibble, which brings me to my query.
I'm very curious about the Gitane Lulo Reinhardt signature guitar. Is the build quality as good or better than the DG 300? Aesthetically, the instrument is quite beautiful, but I wonder if it's got the goods sound wise.
The price is less painful than I would expect. In an case, it's good to be back.
