With a friend I drank some whisky in my Christmas snowflake socks
and we poured a glass for Django for he likes a double Scotch
our playing sure was merry though clams came thick and fast
and all night long some unseen force slow drained the Belgians glass
till when the last sip disappeared a figure garbed in white
there stood resplendent shouting merde till Steve and I took flight

At least that's how I remember it.
