that's a great price if the guitar is straight!...but you didn't take the 150, seems way too low.

I would have bought it if it stayed around $500. It climbed a little too high for me just to buy on a lark...

I recently sold an old Louis Patenotte for AU$600 (US$475). That was the best offer I could get. Showing a bit of age, but solid and very loud - see photo - I thought it a great guitar but for some reason (label snobbery) these do not get the big bucks.

Chicago's Alfonso Ponticelli used a Patenotte for years as his main GJ axe. It sure sounded fine in his hands. I don't think I realized how underappreciated they are...
