I replaced all the strings with a fresh set of Argentine 11's and it didn't do much. Upon further inspection, there seems to be as much break over the zero fret as the other strings as well as compared to my other two SelMac guitars. I should definitely try another individual string and see what effect I get.
Still, just playing normally and focusing on the playing alone, I don't really notice it. It's a really a fantastic bold sound to my ears, overall. It's only when I take a break and start gawking over it inch by inch like I do with my motorcycles and other objet d'art that I notice it.
