Next South Bay Area Gypsy Swing Club meeting
Hello everyone!
For anyone in the south bay area getting into GJ, I have set up a monthly club at Keith Holland Guitars in Los Gatos CA. The first meeting was last month, and we had an amazing turnout. Many wonderful folks came from this site, and we were really happy to have their presence.
The next meeting is Saturday Saturday Feb 24 at 1 PM. If you are thinking of attending, and are not on our mailing list, please send me your email in a PM, and I will send you the chord charts, song, and lead sheets for the tunes we are going to cover/jam.
Finally, the theme of this month's club is strings, so we have a ton of argentine and optima strings for people to try out. I am personally taking the two week challenge with the Optima strings - two weeks of those and then two weeks of the argentine to hear and feel the differences.
Hope to see some new faces there!

I don't want to highjack this thread, but...
...Not that I needed any more picks, but I bought two of the 3mm EML Gypsy Jazz Specials - one in casein and one in resin. They are really well made (great bevel), feel great, and most important - they sound great.
