Just landed in Cleveland, I'll be here for a week. Go Cavs.

Will be good to find gigs or jams, looks like Hot Club of Cowtown played last weekend - those guys are great!

There are three bands in the area: Hot Djang, who would be more accurately described as "Django inspired" stylistically, rather than straight hot jazz. Moustache Yourself is out of Akron, but I haven't seen them play for awhile. There is (was?) also Hot Club of Akron, but as far as I know they have only played once.

There are no jams as far as I know - this is a blues & rock and roll town mainly. I'm guessing there are about a dozen musicians who are familiar with the style in the entire region. If @teletodd and/or Brad Smedley want to get together, I should be available any time except for Saturday night. I can contact them and maybe a couple others, but it's short notice...

As far as jazz venues, there are two that come to mind - Nighttown on Cedar, and Blu Jazz+ down in Akron.
