blindjimmyblindjimmy phoenix,az✭✭✭✭
hi. josh, , looks like the bridge from this site costs a bit more than the dupont bridge at gypsyguitars. i'm not unwilling to make the extra investment, with all due respect, how are these superior to the dupont and others?
also, answering a previous post, you refered to tuning a bridge. would you please explain what this means. beaucoup thanks for all the info your sharing.

The Dupont bridge from Gypsyguitars would need fitting to your instrument.

The reason the Dupont and most other bridges are in the same price range is because they are blanks. If you want them to transfer the tone the way they should they take some work. This is with any bridge be it violin, bass, etc. The GJ bridge is the same. It is a starting point.

I build each bridge from hand picked wood for each individual guitar. Depending on the tone the player would like to achieve I build accordingly. If a bridge is needed for a guitar that I do not have in my shop such as some one ordering a bridge for their guitar I try and get pictures and as much info as I can before I build the bridge to I can send a bridge that will take little set up work. All bridges will take fitting. There is no way around that. If you can bring your guitar to my shop I will fit it. If not I will get you a bridge that will be much closer and built for your instrument.

    Cheers,
    Josh
