HELP! Changing Pot on Peche

I’m having issues with the pot on my Peche. Very little gain. I would really appreciate any advice as to specifics on how anyone has changed one out.
Taking back off pickup, size, ohms of pot, etc.

I was an electronic tech for years, and pots in low voltage circuits rarely go bad. Have you tried cleaning it? Or check all the solder joints for a loose or open connection. It's always possible the pickup itself has an issue, maybe a short across some of the windings...

Actually did as folks at Pêche advised and removed knob, which seemed to be binding a bit and inhibiting movement. Works now. Manufacturer stands behind it and will fix free if needed!
