I use a Krivo Micro-Manouche on every gig. I just stopped thinking about it & it went away.

I had thought the Peche was designed with the specific intent of being more balanced between strings? Their website seems to indicate this to be the case (https://pechealamouche.ch/). It may not be perfect but to my ears it's absolutely more balanced than the Stimer I used to own...really, only thing that can suck about the Peche is it's somewhat heavy and fairly cumbersome (not to mention incompatible with my Altamira, which I was close to "discovering" at a gig lmao).

I'm with everyone else saying that it's really tough to tell with most magnetic pickups when performing tho. Either way, a good method to mitigate some of it is to use the magnetic pickup in conjunction with a piezo, lavalier or soundboard contact mic; I'm not really into the piezo sound and lavaliers are super annoying due to feedback so I use one of Jokko's contact mics and run them through a pedal that blends the outputs into a single output before the amp (shout out to Scott Hlavenka for getting me hip to this system, easily the quickest setup and best sound quality combo I've tried to date). And this is only if I'm running into the Compact 60 because if I go through a tube amp for a later Django electric sound then I just use the pickup...once that overdrive kicks in as the tubes heat up, my ears certainly can't tell if there's any balance issues lol.
