Reviews are difficult to find on this instrument. Thank you for bringing the conversation back around to the question of the actual instrument, Dennis. There are so many problems, I too have found, amplifying gypsy jazz acoustics at gigs, and this seems to fill the need. I'll buy one I see online. Thanks again
I thought about buying the Godin, but went with the AJL quiet and portable with a bigtone and a Kleio 47. Like the Godin, it doesn't feedback, but it also has a nice chunky neck, you can use it for quiet practicing and it fits in a violin case for travel.
I also decided to go with the AJL, but it was the "silent" aspect that was a primary driver, and portability a close second as my intent with the guitar is to take it on work trips and not bother people in the hotel with my mediocre playing. I should have mine in a few weeks!
