Blue Drag Music returns with the second concert of the 2019 season dedicated to the music of the legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt – this time bringing you another superstar and legend of the French gypsy jazz scene guitarist Adrien Moignard.
Born April 29 1985, Adrien discovered the guitar at age twelve and is completely self-taught on the instrument. Initially playing rock and blues, the discovery of gypsy music and Django Reinhardt led him to open up to a more jazz influenced repertoire and since 2002, he has played with musicians of the calibre of Samson Schmitt, Serge Krief, Ninine Garcia, Christophe Lartilleux, Ritary Gaguenetti and Tchavolo Schmitt.
Considered by many to be the finest gypsy jazz guitarist of his generation, tonight Adrien will perform in a trio featuring another legend of the scene, guitarist Mathieu Chatelain.
