Someone in the states who is interested in my AJL has asked about cites paperwork and whether I have just the EU cites - seems my cites paperwork states EU.
I have never shipped an instrument so dont know what the requirements are ?
Advice would be welcome.
Cheers

The website says basically "don't bother trying to contact us as nobody here cares enough to answer" or maybe it means "don't ask us, we don't know either...." BUT there are some useful tips in the FAQ section.
One other point; if you have anything that will prove when it was made, (an original bill of sale, maybe there is a dated label inside the guitar?) and if that was before whatever rules apply to the timbers in your guitar, it may not need certification, but then that does not explain why you have some CITES papers. I have had no trouble importing a couple of vintage guitars into Australia from Europe, but maybe that was just because they were obviously 'old'?
