@Chiefbigeasy regarding LC pickup, that's just so subjective, they all have their flavors, fans and critics. None I heard stand above others. Michael's video of Mateos pickup sounds nice but I don't think the pickup sound in the video is isolated from the direct acoustic guitar sound. And it would be fairly easy to wire any magnetic pickup to the endpin jack. The only advantage that Mateos pickup has that I can see is that they routed the wires to come out on the middle bottom. But a good tech could probably do that too with the Peche.
I notice some of that sensitivity on Jokko's contact mic but it's not significantly more than I had from the condenser mic I used previously.

Hey just thought of something...did you try reversing the mic? Don't know if it's supposed to make a difference but I'd flip it the other way.
Easy solution for eliminating those annoying non-musical noises, Chief... can you guess what I’m going to say next...?
...because I have said it around here so many times...
...!!!...
...mount that Ischell pickup inside the body, under the bridge, between the A and D string!

Someday, somebody else around here is gonna try this...
...and they are gonna say this...
”Holy shit! That Lango-Django idiot was actually right about something!”
Edgar Degas: "Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things.... To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."
Georges Braque: "In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that can’t be explained."
