Hello everyone,
If anyone is interested I have a couple of very nice player grade 1940s Epiphones available. Just thought I would mention them on here before I try Reverb etc.
The dating system for these is a little ambiguous so I will say approximately for the years of manufacture.
1947 Deluxe - refin natural, seems like French polish or similar, gold schaller tuners added, repro celluloid firestripe guard, added '70s Dearmond 1100 gold adjustable Rhythm Chief pickup. Period Lifton case.
1940 Emperor - natural, very high quality headstock repair, changed tuners, no guard, some finish touch up. Original case in "distressed" condition.
Just putting it out there, happy to discuss pricing, do some pictures etc if there's any interest.
