Hello all, I have quite a bit of buzzing coming from my strings behind the bridge. Its not the tailpiece. I think Ive seen people use a strip of velcro to calm this down. For those who have had this problem, what do you use? Thanks - Dean
I've stuck these on to mute strings from time to time:
A friend of mine used one of those red 'shop rags' stuffed under the strings behind the bridge because he couldn't stand the overtones.
I, on the other hand, loved the natural overtones...that's part of the character of this music, IMHO...
To each his own...
Yup vecro like what Michael shows.
I made a mute from a strip of brass and a piece of mouse mat. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
I've woven leather strips, shoelaces, etc between strings
