Very nice version Romain! Heard it yesterday and was inspired to play it at a gig today drawing much applause.
Love the bass and guitar only instrumentation for this style of song. You and Eduoard play great together!
Any CDs/downloads with more?
I'm always interested in jamming with experienced jazz and gypsy jazz players in the San Francisco - San Jose area. Drop me a line. Bass players welcome!

Very Tasty! Proof positive that there are other uses for a Selmer style guitar than simple playing solos with too many notes.....

Hey PMG, thanks for your message ! such an inspiring tune ! I sang it on tour in Sweden and they also have a version by Monica Zetterlund with lyrics in Swedish, Sakta Vi Ga Genom Stan, so it was fun to mix the english lyrics and the swedish lyrics, don't hesitate to check her version too !
We work well together with Edouard, and i like the fact of changing the instrumentation and bringing something a bit more intimate with this duet version instead of having the full 4tet !
and if you prefer a physical version, we can send it home also (although i think there is only 3 or 4 copies left of trhe 1st album "Swinging in Paris".
I do play acoutic archtops and selmer style guitars, and i love to switch ways of playing and sometimes play more in an american swing way on the selmac, and sometimes play gypsy on the archtop. And trying to make those archtops sing inspires me to play fewer notes, as i try to demo on my Acoustic Standards Channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1adDSRvflBig4IFgYSebpQ?view_as=subscriber
For the Django stuff with my 4tet it's best to check/subscribe to that channel :
