Dupont Guitars For Sale
Selling a stunning Dupont MD50E in excellent condition. The guitar is from 2015 and comes with original Dupont guitar case.
Previously owned by the rhythm guitar player of Romane.
Asking price $3750 shipped
Top: Maple
Back and Sides: Flame Maple
Fretboard: Ebony
The MD50E is very similar to the standard MD50, adding the two models side by side below.

The "E" is Dupont's designation for maple back and sides.
That would make sense, since "erable" is the word for maple in French.
You guys are very correct! That's exactly what it is.
Also good to know, beside the difference of look, the maple (Erable) back and sides on the DM50E gives the guitar a slightly more cutting high range (slightly brighter) but it also gives more bass to the voice.
I've been thinking of doing a video performance to help comparing the DM50 and the DM50E. The difference is very subtle. I love them both.

Comparison videos are always nice, especially when the same player is playing the same tune on the same day with the same equipment. While nothing beats playing in person, these apples to apples comparisons are most likely to capture some of the differences only due to the instrument and not the other factors such as player or recording quality, etc.
